WhenThen joins the Mangopay family!

On behalf of our wonderful team, and with deep gratitude to our incredible investors; Stride.vc and Cavalry Ventures, Eamon, Dave and I are delighted to announce we've been acquired by Mangopay, an Advent International company.

Our mission starting WhenThen in Dec 2020, was to simplify the creation of smart, modular payment infrastructure for global platforms and marketplaces. That's a big mission! and we're strong believers in a journey shared is a journey halved, and are proud to continue this mission with Mangopay.

People start companies for many reasons, and with lots of ambitions, but for Dave, Eamon and I, it was simply to build great tech together that solves real problems in the spirit of 'get s*** done and have fun' along the way! The fact we get to continue to build the future of payments together while ensuring the financial security of our family is more than we could ever ask for. For that, we're very grateful to Romain, Ronen and Luke at Mangopay and Marc, Fabio and Xavier at Advent International for their trust and belief in the team and us.

FYI, those who know us know we don't like to mess about and waste time, so I'm also delighted to announce that both WhenThen's awesome payments technology, built by some of the world's best engineers, productereers and designers, is now fully integrated into Mangopay, and our teams are also fully integrated – our shared mission won't wait for us. Onwards!
